We believe:
That we are all sinners, and are in need of forgiveness.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God who became human to save us from sin through His perfect life, death, and resurrection.
The Bible is God's Word and has the power to create saving faith in Jesus.

The Lutheran Church bases its beliefs, and doctrine on the eternal Word of God. The scripture is the center to living a life pleasing to God our Father. Martin Luther wrote his founding beliefs in the Book of Concord. One of the parts of that book is Luther's Small Catechism. Lutheran's do not place the catechism above the Bible. Feel free to download and read a copy of Luther's Small Catechism; as well as an Explanation of the Small Catechism.
